Stephan Kain - Chairman & Webmaster
Stephan Kain is the Chairman of the Convergence Conference events team. He overlooks all the aspects in organizing the mini events and final conference by delegating roles to his members according to their strengths. It is his responsibility to ensure that all tasks are done in a timely manner and to conduct effective group meetings. Aside from managing the events team, he is also in charge of creating and updating the website for the 9th Convergence Conference.
Juliana Stephani Oropeza Escalona (Finance Manager and Secretary)
Juliana Oropeza is the Finance Manager and Secretary of the Convergence Conference events team. Due to her prior experience in the field of administration and finance, she is able to aid the Chairman in all of his tasks by working closely with all the members. This role requires her to make sure that the team is able to meet deadlines and advise the Chairman in his decisions by providing constructive feedback.
Leong Po Yee (Marketing Director and Programme Manager)
Leong Po Yee is the Marketing Director and Programme Manager for the team. She is behind the aesthetics, logos, conceptualization and design for each event. Due to her creative inclination she has been in charge of creating the posters, booklets, and aiding the Webmaster in creating the website. Po Yee also helps the Webmaster by updating social media posts for each event.
Abhiram Yarla Gadda (Research director and Finance Manager)
Abhiram Gadda is the Research Director and Finance Manager of the events team. His role includes seeking appropriate sponsors to fund the events and final conference. His understanding of merchandising and sales is useful in ensuring that the purchases in the team are cost effective and do not run over budget. He also conducts research by providing surveys for each event and compiles the data to analyse the progress of the events team.
Harsh Ahuja (Programme Director and Logistic Manager)
Harsh Ahuja is the Programme Director and Logistics Manager of the team. He makes sure that the schedule for each event runs according to the scheduled time and he contributes by helping Programme Manager in setting the schedule for all events. Due to his extensive involvement in volunteering for school events, he has access to the personnel that will help with the final conference. In regards to his role in logistics, Harsh makes sure that all the equipment and resources needed for each event are booked and set up on time.
